Among the plants that I fond of is Bird of Paradise. I tried to grow them before but it only flower after 5 years i.e. before I was moving from Kuala Lumpur to Perak. I guess at that time the plant was desperate and don't want me to leave it behind. In Ipoh, it didn't flower at all.
Before I come to Qatar, i bought another Bird of Paradise and a few other heliconias, surprisingly I was delighted to see that it is flowering now while I am away. Thank you for my son for taking good care of it.
