Fanar Expo - Arabic Calligraphy

I went to Fanar Expo last weekend apart from witnessing the making of new guinness world record for the longest paper marbling. Apart from that one section that excite me most is the Arabic Calligraphy section and I asked them to write my family members in the form of Arabic Calligraphy. I hope one day I would master this skill as well.

Mee Bandung Johor

Ari ni teringin pulak nak makan Mee Bandung. Caranya mudah aje. Mula-mula letakkan sedikit minyak zaitun, tumis bawang, masukkan air dan udang serta perencah instant mee bandung. Bila mengelegak masukkan mee. Kalau tak de mee kuning, boleh la masukkan spagetti atau mee maggie. Bila spagetti sudah masak, masukan sebutir telur dan akhir sekali masukkan sayuran. Dan tersedia untuk di hidang.. Jangan lupa taburkan sedikit bawang goreng agar lebih sedap... Best...

Watching Brazil Vs England Match

I don't really fond watching football except during the 2002 world cup where Brazil defeat Germany 2 nil. Since then I began I be a fan of Brazil. So when Doha hosting a friendly match Brazil Vs England, I got excited and told Dwan to get the tickets. Were were lucky we got it. I was told we are not allowed to bring in camera except for compact camera. I had to buy one at Carefour in order to capture the moment my life... The last time I literally went to stadium was in my teenage may be 12 I guess.

After I bought the camera, Dwan snapped this picture of Aspire Tower located between Villaggio and Khalifa Stadium.

Outside the Stadium compound there was a fair with booth selling T shirts and local Arab heritage, music, camel and this was one shot with the camel.

We met Hafiz and he told us that got a free Qatar Bid Tshirt. We asked him how did he get it. He said, just dribble the ball for 1 minutes and you will get it for free. So Dwan and me decided to do the same by doing some warming it before the real match. That was the longest 1 min and we a good sweat.

In the end it was a good match, Brazil won 1 nil...

Daddy nak ucap tahniah buat Nur Jeehan kerana mendapat pencapaian cemerlang pada ujian akhir tahun dan harap Aan dapat kekalkan sehingga tercapai setiap apa yang Aan impian dan cita-citakan. Insyallah daddy akan memberi sokongan buat Aan.

Daddy juga ingin mengambil kesempatan ini, mengucapkan Happy Birtday buat Aan dan insyallah sambutan birthday kali ni kita buat di Doha eh. Daddy berdoa agar Aan jadi anak yang solehah, taat perintah allah dan juga taat pada kedua ibu bapa, di murahkan rezeki yang melimpah ruah, di beri kesihatan badan, di panjangkan umur dan di berkati hidup. Bakal Haji Malaysia 2009

Hari ini sempat ke Green Village bagi meraikan warga Malaysia yang akan menjadi tetamu allah tahun ini. Ada yang menaiki bas dan ada yang menaiki pesawat. Rasanya belanja mungkin murah lagi dari Malaysia agaknya. Turut hadir di majlis ini ialah Yang Berbahagia Duta Besar Malaysia ke Doha. Kami sempat juga di jamu dengan nasi lemak, nasik dagang dan laksa kelantan. Bagi org bujang sementara cam saya sedap aje la dapat makan free...

Jam @ Blue Salon

Semalam for the first time I pergi ke Blue Salon Doha. Sebelum ni I thought it was a Salon for ladies but it is actually a high end shopping mall. Since it is currently on sales, I might as well take a look if there is anything interesting. Two things that caught my attention is the back pack for my notebook and the other is a watch as I am also a watch collector. It was about 70% off the price tag and I like the design.
